The Reverend Stanley Long, South Bay Community Church Urban Leadership Institute

PRESS RELEASE
In association with South Bay Community Church and World Impact a new theological training center will be established August 1, 2008 in Fremont Ca, according to The Reverend Stanley Long, director of South Bay Community Church Urban Leadership Institute. Located at 47385 Warm Springs Blvd., the newly established South Bay Community Church Leadership Institute will offer seminary-level training to the public that is inexpensive, excellent, and culturally relevant to urban life.

“Our desire,” according to Stanley Long, “is to train and equip godly pastors, missionaries, and lay leaders for effective ministry in the Bay area. We are partnering with the “Urban Ministry Institute of World Impact,” an interdenominational Christian missionary organization, dedicated to ministering God’s love all over urban America. With our distinctive focus on equipping leaders we are trusting that God will help us here in South County to raise up faithful men and women who will serve Christ’s Church here in our area.

The new South Bay Community Church Urban Leadership Institute will offer courses in Biblical Studies, Theology and Ethics, Christian Ministry, and Urban Mission. These courses, which will be taught by our quality institute faculty, may be applied toward our Certificate in Christian Leadership Studies. Rev. Long stated, “These programs of study have been specially designed for the busy, bi-vocational pastor or Christian worker who wants to sharpen their skills in order to be more effective in their ministry. The emphasis is on flexibility, affordability, and relevance to the thorny issues faced by those during ministry in our world today.”

Classes will start on September 10, 2008. For more information please contact Stanley Long at 510-490-9500.
